The short version
You don't need an account to create and export a basic mockup — your screenshot stays on your device the whole time. If you create a free account to use the Full Editor or save mockups to History, we store your email, your saved projects, and any images you add to them on our server, so they're there when you come back and can sync across your devices. We don't sell your data.
Basic mockup tool (no account)
Any screenshot you choose is read directly from your device's photo library, composited into a device mockup on your device, and exported back to your photos (or shared via the share sheet you choose). It is never sent to us for this feature.
If you create an account
Signing up only asks for an email address and a password (stored encrypted, not as plain text) — we don't collect your name. Creating an account unlocks two things, and both work the same way: whatever you save (a Full Editor project or a mockup in History) is stored on our server, including any screenshots or images you've added to it, so you can pick up where you left off on another device. You can delete anything you've saved from inside the app, and you can delete your whole account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account, which permanently removes your account, your projects, and your mockup history.
Permissions we ask for, and why
- Photo library access — to let you pick a screenshot to place inside a mockup, and to save your finished export back to your photos.
- App Tracking Transparency (iOS) — we ask for permission to use your device's advertising identifier so the ads that keep the app free are more relevant to you. This does not affect your screenshots or mockups, which never leave your device for this feature. You can decline this and still use the app.
We don't request location, contacts, microphone, or camera access.
Ads and subscriptions
The app shows interstitial ads using Google AdMob after an export. AdMob may collect device and advertising identifiers to serve and measure ads, governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Premium is a subscription billed and processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play — we never see or store your payment information. Those stores share only what's needed to confirm your purchase is active. We use RevenueCat to manage and sync that subscription status across your devices; RevenueCat receives purchase and subscription data from the app store for this purpose, governed by RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Children's privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at the address below and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
